AMICV, Real Estate Agency in Cape Verde, show Aquiles Eco Hotel, located in São Pedro, 30 metres from the beach and 7 km from Mindelo. In the main square of a small fishing village, the Hotel tries to integrate itself in the architecture and social structure of the place.
The architecture is simple, flexible, dialogues with other houses and buildings.
Composed of:
. 13 wooden rooms placed inside a concrete structure painted with white lime.
. Ground floor has a reception, dining room, and kitchen. Solid concrete flooring, and simple furniture made from recycled wood used in reinforced concrete formwork
. 1st and 2nd floors are equal: six rooms of the size of a container 7.5×2.5×2.5, and a warehouse
. 3hd Floor: 1 suite overlooking the sea, the laundry and a large terrace.
The rooms have a basic configuration that matches and fits the simple way of living of the fishing village.
ECO-FRIENDLY
It has no air conditioning, which is not necessary due to the use of cross ventilation in the building.
The shower water in the rooms is recycled and reused in the toilets, and they have everything to put photovoltaic panels on the roof to produce electricity.
